HOPSTER LAUNCHES CURIOUS WORLD IN THE UK & IRELAND

CURIOUS WORLD: SEEKING CONTENT FOR 4-8YRS

London, 14 December 2020 Hopster, the award-winning preschool educational and entertainment digital platform announced today that it has launched Curious World in the UK and Ireland which is now available to download from the App store.

Hopster acquired the early learning app earlier this year in October with the intention of growing its content portfolio and strengthening its global footprint for both brands. The app now live in the UK will also roll out in Australia, New Zealand on the Apple App Store later this month and further  territories launching next year. It is currently in a number of talks with telcos around the world to bolster its SVOD presence.

Since its acquisition, Hopster has repositioned The Curious World brand to target 4 - 8years olds, refocusing its content strategy. The early learning app is now seeking new and fresh content that is inline with its new target audience to amplify its core USP that encourages offscreen active play, through its personalised experience and eight key early learning areas.

As part of its UK launch content, subscribers will have access to the much loved children’s brand, Arthur with Arthur’s Story Maker - 5 interactive games to help kids create stories. Daily Routine Games Collection - selection of games that teach kids valuable daily life skills. Exclusive to Curious World, Superpower Heroes! - A live action craft series using recyclable objects.

Curious World is powered by the world-renowned children’s brand Curious George and uses a personalised navigation system to showcase its diverse portfolio that is mapped to eight key early learning areas. It boasts several features which includes:

  • A bedtime mode: Between 18:00 to 05:30, app transforms into a cosy, night time setting
  • A parent dashboard: Monitor your child's learning journey with a summary of your child’s activities, preferences, and the learning areas
  • Search function: Use the search bar and type in your child’s favourite hobby, subject or learning keyword, and all the relevant content will appear.
  • Favourites function: Click the heart on each thumbnail, automatically save to your own favourites page
  • Personalised profiles: Create up to four profiles for your children, eight fun avatar options with content specific to their age, giving them the most personalised journey
