SANDBOX GROUP LAUNCHES FLAGSHIP KIDS SVOD ON PRIME VIDEO CHANNELS IN BRAZIL
PLAYKIDS LEARNING CHANNEL OFFERS LOCALIZED FUN EDUCATIONAL VIDEOS TO YOUNG FAMILIES
London, 19 December 2023 – Sandbox Group, the London-based group operating a network of learning businesses, announced that it has launched a new entertainment and learning service on Prime Video Channels in Brazil.
Playkids Learning, the new channel that strikes the perfect balance between education and fun, is included in the “Channels” section of the streaming platform. Its line-up includes family favorite animations such as Bob Zoom, Masha and the Bear and Baby Shark.
The Playkids Learning channel offers curriculum-based localized entertainment for families with children on Prime Video Channels for only R$9.80 per month after a 7-day free trial period.
The launch of the platform follows the arrival of the all-in-one super app, PlayKids+, launched by Sandbox Group last October along with the announcement of key Brazilian telco partnerships including with Sky Brasil, TIM, Vivo and Claro.
The US service of Sandbox Group, Hopster Learning, has also extended its offering on Prime Video Channels, offering exclusive Spanish language videos along the existing English versions to serve its Hispanic audience.
With the latest launch Sandbox Group now operates kids services on Prime Video Channels in nine countries: US, UK, Australia, France, Italy, Netherlands, Spain, Sweden and Brazil.
